Today we are going to make a simple Men’s paracord bracelet without a clasp using 550 paracord. For making your bracelet, you can use any color of 550 paracord. If you do not have a special bracelet making tool you can use any wooden board. Hammer three nails into the board and the bracelet making tool is done!

Materials and tools for weaving

To weave a men’s paracord bracelet we need:

550 paracord of any color. We will need approximately 3 – 3.5 m. It all depends on the size of your wrist. I used about 3.30 meters of paracord to make a bracelet with a diameter of 23 cm.
Bracelet making tool. You can do without it if you want. But if you often weave bracelets from paracord, I recommend buying or making a bracelet making tool (you can make it from a wooden or metal).
Scissors.
Lighter.
Metal end tip. You can do without it. If you don’t have it, you will just have to make knots at the ends of the cords.

First of all, measure your wrist to know the size of the bracelet. Take any piece of paracord and wrap it around your wrist. Then place it on a ruler.
Adjust the bracelet making tool to the size of your bracelet.

Fold the paracord in half and fix it on the bracelet making machine. Make the first knot to keep the cord from sagging.

Tighten the knot. Now, start weaving a bracelet! Bring the cord from the right side as shown in the photo.

Now bring the cord from the left.

Make the next knot in the opposite way (mirroring the previous knot). First, bring the cord from the left side.

Then bring the cord from the right.

Next, make a knot on the right cord, then on the left, then on the right again … and so on.

And finally, make the knots close to the pin of the bracelet making tool. The pins on the bracelet making tool should be thin, ordinary nails will be perfect.

Remove the blank of the bracelet from the bracelet making tool. First, slip the first end of the cord through the loop.

Then slip the second cord through the other side of the loop.

Now both ends must be slipped into the loops on the other side of the bracelet.

Try the bracelet on. When “extended”, your wrist and hand should fit through the bracelet. Did you try it on? If everything is alright, make a knot.

Tighten the knot. Cut off the ends – leave about 5 mm. Melt the ends of the paracord with a lighter (or any other source of fire) and press them with something iron (you can use the lighter as well).

This is a good design option for the Men’s paracord bracelet. You can use fittings to decorate it. As for me, I added a metal end tip on the knot.

Remember what I said about the thin pins on the bracelet making tool? The smaller loops you make in the bracelet, the better. Thus the bracelet will not become loose on the wrist.
