DIY Cone Christmas Tree

Cone Christmas Tree DIY.

I really love cone Christmas trees. Today I will tell you about a new DIY holiday design. You can personalize it to fit your home and the theme you choose. And this is so cheap to make. This project is cheap indeed. Although it looks so expensive and luxurious. Whatever project we are making, cheapness is a very important detail. The process is very simple. I will tell you how to make it in two words. First, we need to make a cone from cardboard for posters, light cardboard or even decorative paper. Then, glue the paper Christmas tree cone closed. And after that, we should use a glue gun or plain white glue to attach it. So simple, I don’t even need to explain it to you in details.
That said, we have included several tutorials and nice photos below. You can make your Christmas cone trees tall or tiny. Just as you wish. You can even make a whole forest. Try to make them fun and modern, or even elegant and traditional. Everything depends on you. The most important thing is that it is also a great family project.

I still have wallpaper for the walls left after the renovation. I will use it in the work. You don’t even have to decorate the cone if the wallpaper already has a beautiful pattern.

I’m going to make a small tree, about 20 cm tall. Cut a large strip of paper. It should be about 30 cm wide.

The top of the cone will be placed approximately in the middle of the strip of paper. Apply glue to the corner of the paper. Then, roll up the piece of paper. And make the cone as big as you want to. It is convenient to form the size at this stage. We are not going to cut the paper. Let’s add several layers to the cone.

The cone made of several layers holds its shape well and is more stable.

Next, roll the cone tightly. After that, glue it with any type of glue.

Of course, the bottom of the cone needed to be cut so it would be able to stand up. I measured from the top and made marks along the bottom at the respective measurements of the trees. Then, I just cut with scissors along the dotted lines.

We are going to make a Cone Christmas Tree with a trunk. And we will make the trunk of a wooden skewer. Cut the prepared wine cork in half.

Next, make a hole in the middle of the wine cork with an awl.

We should insert the skewer the way that the wine cork rests against the sides of the cone. But the tip of the skewer should peep out a little bit.

Once you’ve found the proper location of the wine cork, you can glue it to the paper. Then, the Cone Christmas Tree can be installed on a stand. Make a hole in the stand, put the glue in the hole and insert the trunk.

There is another way to attach the tree to the disk. In this case, the trunk will not be visible. The Cone Christmas Tree will be standing firmly and will not fall after accidental touch.
You should make a hole in the center of the second half of the wine cork. Then, glue it to the middle of the disc.

Next, insert the tree trunk into the wine cork.
